Meet Jeanne
Jeanne has been a Christian for over 43 years and is a co-founder of BOLD Living Ministries. Throughout her life God has poured out His love, grace, and compassion over her and taught her how to do the same toward others (still growing all the time). He has given her a passion and heart for practical discipleship and helping people to understand the Bible and experience the life changing relationship of loving and being loved by the Lord.
She has 5 grown children and 9 grandchildren (so far). After homeschooling for 35 years she is now a Southwestern transplant currently residing in the rolling Appalachian foothills of the South, close to her daughter Erin’s family.
Meet Erin
Erin is a Christian, homeschool mama, wife, co-founder of Bold Living Ministries, piano teacher, creative soul, enjoyer of the outdoors, blogger, CAP member & pursuer of many interests! She became a believer at a young age and has a passion to love and glorify the Lord in all she does followed closely with discipling people in the scriptures and encouraging people of all ages to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus and live a life purpose. She knows the Lord has called her to ministry, starting with her own kiddos. Her prayer for them is the same for you - that you become a man/woman after God’s own heart.
Why Bold Living?
We started Bold Living to give people a safe place to be biblically discipled through the Bible and truly get to know Jesus, not just about Him. The conception of this ministry happened in 2019 during one of the darkest and hardest times of our lives. What kept us anchored in truth and resilient in hope was knowing Jesus - personally - and that knowing came from years of intentional discipleship.
Biblical discipleship is more than head knowledge; it is based off real understanding and personal experience. Just like a good math teacher doesn’t just want you to memorize 2 + 2 = 4 but understand why it does, we want you to know Jesus and understand why it matters.
To be biblically discipled is to be personally walked through the Bible and introduced to Jesus and then encouraged all along the way as you begin to build a relationship with Him. It teaches you to become a BOLD (Beautifully Original Lord Directed) believer who can confidently give an answer for the hope within you.
We see so many people inside and outside the church confused and unsure about the Bible and as equally unfamiliar with Jesus. They approach the Bible as a book to be tackled, not a person to be known. We aim to change that!
We truly believe that when a person is discipled in understanding who Jesus is - as the Bible demonstrates Him to be - it radically changes the way they approach life and relationships. Like the atlas in the body being nudged back into place causes the rest of the spine to align, knowing Jesus helps a person prioritize and live their life as God intended. We know because we have personally been blessed and transformed by all that we are passing forward and teaching.
You have much to gain and so much waiting for you, what are you waiting for?
Our Manifesto
Loving the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, all our strength is our most worthy and high calling.
We have been given the authority to pray prayers that change things even if it only changes us.
God uses imperfect people to do His perfect work.
God created all things and especially people to reflect His glory and be loved by Him.
He created each person as an individual with strengths, weaknesses and a particular personality; a vessel prepared to be filled with living water.
God has a sense of humor and loves to display His glory through the beautiful creation around us.
Every person has been loved by God through His Son Jesus and no one is too broken or lost to receive that love if they turn to Him.
